I'm Not Proud Of This

I've always had a hard time finding satisfaction in my finished work, as most creative minds, I assume. But I feel obliged to indulge the reader into my hatred for graphic design. Not the actual craft of advertisement imagery, but everything else.
In here you'll find a collection of all my hate, poured into college assignments and some freelance jobs I was never fully able to enjoy due to financial and creative discrepancies.

Fredy Reyna - Venezuelan Cuatro Player

This logo was a college assignment, I was to represent the essence of this musical figure of the 20th century from my home country, Fredy Reyna, who's proficiency with the cuatro was so elevated he even performed solo before thousands. And so my depiction of his name consisted of a simple negative space font enclosed in the sound hole of the instrument.

Creative Nuke - Co-Design

Creative Nuke was a participatory design initiative started by one of my friends and myself in Venezuela with the goal of creating entirely original designs for certain targets, sadly the country neglected any creative initiative rendering our proposal in shame. Idea by Luckas Jimenez.

Dale Berry Construction, llc
Dale Berry is a skilled general contractor based in Florida whom I had the great honor to work with and allowed me to provide my creative knowledge to redesign the logo of his company.

EcoSistema - Logo Variation
Yet another assignment from school, I was to create a logo for an ecological organization, unknown of the purpose of the made-up organization, I came up with this leave design and some variations of it as a means of proposing different logo presentations for different uses and seasons.

Noi Caffe Logo Proposal
I worked with coffee machine distribution company called Multi-Vending in Venezuela for almost a year as they became unsatisfied with my style. At one point they requested a redesign of the logo of what I found out later was one of their benefactors and importers. This proposal was ultimately scraped and unfunded. Above are some of the crazy designs I presented to them.

Inside Face

Outside Face
Here are both faces of a folded leaflet (diptych) I made for Multi-Vending showing some of the benefits of contracting them and the services they provided aside from providing stores with the actual machines including maintenance and supplies.
Size: Letter, Oblong / folded in half. All vector art made by me.

Don't Put Your Foot In It - Safe Sex Advertisement
School assignment promoting the use of condoms. Going by the saying, I literally made a foot going in IT. All metaphors though, It was made to promote the safe sex practice to avoid Sexual Transmission Disease and unwanted pregnancy. This topic was requested by a health organization called ProSalud. This was also a contest in a certain extend. It goes without saying my design didn't even remotely make it for it's "graphic" content.

Outside

Inside
This is a leaflet containing tourist information about Mexico was a school assignment in which I was to investigate and on the subject, summarize the true information gathered and create visuals to support the text in question.
All vectors by me.

Outside

Inside
Much like the entry above, after failing the subject, this second leaflet contained information on the Venezuelan national park of Canaima, home of the legendary angel Falls.
Yes, I failed in this second attempt.
All vectors by me.
